It’s honestly surreal to think that Casa Palma didn’t even exist 12 months ago. What started as an idea — a wild “what if?” that felt bigger than us — somehow turned into the most intense, stretching, purpose-filled year of our lives. There were months that felt impossible, decisions that kept us awake at night, early mornings, late nights, and so many moments where we wondered if we were crazy for taking this on.
But then we get reviews like the one we received today (below)… and suddenly it all clicks. Every ounce of effort, every detail our team agonized over, every contractor, designer, and partner who poured their talent into this place — it all feels worth it. These moments remind us why we did this in the first place.
We are profoundly grateful for our staff and leader @alison.fletch who show up every single day with heart, for the contractors and designer @hi_im_al who helped shape this dream into something real, and for our guests who continue to come back and make Casa Palma their home away from home. Seeing people create memories here — families, couples, friends, celebrations — is honestly the greatest gift.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this first year. We built the foundation, but you are what brings this place to life. Here’s to many more years of warmth, community, and magic in the desert.
"We LOVED this place! The aesthetic, the vibe, the food, the rooms, the activities, everything was perfect, we didn’t want to leave! Everything looks exactly like the pictures online and better. From the moment we walked through the front doors we felt so relaxed. We took advantage of all the activities on site (the heated pool, the games, the hot tub, the fire pit, the gym, the pool table, the free bikes, tennis, etc!). There was always something to do and we especially loved riding the bikes around Movie Colony in the morning. We stayed while it was very quiet at the hotel (not sure if the summer is busier) and at times it felt like the whole hotel was our house, it was amazing! We had food for lunch one day from the hotel bar and it was 10/10"

A. Yes! We have a climate-controlled indoor fitness center with treadmill, Peloton, free weights, all-in-one trainer, and more! We also have bikes, activities like pickleball and tennis, water volleyball, spikeball, hikes nearby and a wellness park very close with workout stations. There are also gyms and studios within walking distance.
Q. Is there a restaurant on site?
A. Yes! Our poolside indoor/outdoor restaurant, Chiquita, serves breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and cocktails, and is currently open every weekend with expanded hours during holidays and events. Chiquita delivers a simple menu of classic dishes with a modern bent toward natural quality ingredients that not only taste amazing going in, but feel amazing going down. We also have muffins and coffee in the morning when Chiquita is closed and items in the lobby for purchase.

A. Casa Palma was once the desert hideaway of Hollywood legend Errol Flynn. His adventurous, glamorous spirit still lingers in the property’s design and vibe. We’ve lovingly reimagined it into a boutique stay that mixes old-school charm with modern comfort.

A. Absolutely. Casa Palma is family-friendly, with plenty of outdoor space, poolside games, and fun snacks for the little ones.
Q. Can I book the whole hotel for a group stay or event?
A. Yes! Casa Palma is ideal for group getaways, retreats, weddings, or brand experiences. You can book out the full property for a totally private desert escape.
Q. What activities are available nearby?
A. So many! We’re close to amazing hiking trails, tennis courts, vintage shopping, local markets, and art galleries. We can also help arrange bikes, guided hikes, or spa services.
Q. What are the rooms like?
A. Each room is comfortable yet chic and styled with vintage touches, natural textures, and lots of light. Some rooms have patios and kitchenettes—ask us for details if you have a preference.
Q. Is there music or live entertainment?
A. Casa Palma is generally relaxed with music on at the pool (we have a more quiet pool for reading and another pool for activities and hanging with friends), but we do host occasional DJ sets, acoustic nights, and creative happenings depending on the season.
Q. Is smoking allowed?
A. Casa Palma is a non-smoking property, including all rooms and outdoor spaces.
Q. Do you offer spa services?
A. We partner with trusted local therapists for in-room massages and wellness treatments. Just let us know in advance to arrange it!
